The bioinert Scepter column has a polymer-lined stainless steel body with a high pressure polymer frit for a completely metal-free flowpath. The organosilane hybrid particle with a pentafluorophenyl ligand provides alternate selectivity to a C8 or C18, and is recommended for the analysis of aromatic and positively charged (N-containing) compounds. The PFPP phase can be used in reversed-phase mode with 100% aqueous conditions, or HILIC mode for increased LCMS sensitivity.. Inert column hardware eliminates adsorption and reduces tailing for compounds that tend to form chelates with metal surfaces, especially those containing phosphate groups.
